Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S., Valeriy Chaly, will be visiting Pittsburgh.
On October 21, 2017 at 11 A.M., a special and honorable guest from the Ukrainian Embassy, Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S., Valeriy Chaly, will be visiting Pittsburgh. Holy Triniti Ukrainian Catholic Church ( 730 Washington Avenue- Carnegie PA 15106.
He will be presenting awards from the former third President of Ukraine, Victor Yushchenko
to Bishop Robert Moskal, deceased Luba Hlutkowsky and deceased Olga Manastersky that will be accepted by their children. Those awards were signed by President Yushchenko however were “lost” during the Presidency of Viktor Yanukovych.
In addition, the Ambassador will present this year’s award, “Honored Journalist of Ukraine” "Заслужений журналіст України" that was granted to Oksana Lernatovych, an editor of the radio program “Ukraine in the heart of everyone” and “Christ among us” and the instructor of Ukrainian language in the University of Pittsburgh. A small reception to meet with Ukrainian diaspora will follow the ceremony and will be in the church hall.
